How To Have A Successful Year End!

This presentation will cover the following:

Come and learn how to have a successful year-end. We will review the preparation steps to ensure that employees have been paid and reported correctly through the year. We will review year-end forms and how to complete them. In addition the class will update you on annual federal changes, Utah state changes, and reporting of fringe benefits.

Product Owner, Caselle

Ronn began his career at Caselle in 1997. Prior to Caselle he worked for a group of CPA's. There he learned the complexities of accounting, helped manage, and audit their businesses. He has also worked with McAfee software in partnership with their finance department. These industries introduced him to payroll, human resources and management. Ronn is the payroll expert at Caselle and is familiar with the different nuances of dealing with government union contracts, and all types of federal and state tax filing and reporting.

Ronn is currently the Product Owner for the Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resource, Timekeeping, and Government Reporting modules. In order to manage these projects he oversees all of the Federal and State compliance issues for each of our customers.

Ronn has an Associate's degree from the College of Eastern Utah, where he competed in forensics and debate. He completed his Bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University. In 2008, he achieved Certified Payroll Professional status and has served in various positions on the Board of Directors for the Utah Chapter of the American Payroll Association. He has presented nationally at the American Payroll Association's annual Congress and also serves on several national committees. Ronn was recognized in 2013 by the American Payroll Association with a meritorious service award. He is the first person from Utah to be recognized with that award.

He is married to his wife Kellie and they are the parents of three children. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, gardening and traveling with his family. He is a history buff and loves to read and visit historical sites.
